To meet the city's growing demand for cutting-edge technologies as well as the growth trajectory for MSMEs & channel partners, CRN India, in association with Dell Technologies and in partnership with Ingram Micro, organised the latest edition of the Transformation Tour in Ludhiana, "the Commercial Capital of Punjab".

The event kicked off with an enlightening presentation by Rana Pandey, the Group Product Manager, Ingram Micro. He captivated the audience with his insights on the topic "Grow your opportunity with Dell Technologies".

Pandey spoke about the recently launched Dell Latitude series, exclaiming, "The Dell Latitude empowers customers to work confidently from anywhere using the world's most intelligent commercial PCs."" He went on to highlight the remarkable features of the Dell Latitude, particularly praising its zero lattice keyboard, which boasts larger and deeper keycaps, providing an unparalleled touch typing experience.

As he delved into the Dell Optiplex, Pandey expressed, "This flexible, affordable, and incredibly sustainable portfolio of desktops truly stands out." He also emphasised the game-changing capabilities of Dell Optimizer, an AI-based optimisation software that learns and adapts to the unique work styles of users, enhancing their productivity.

Pandey unveiled the Dell Precision. He described them as cutting-edge, fully configurable mobile workstations that are both affordable and impeccably designed, catering to the demands of the modern professional.

Following this, was the panel discussion on the topic “Navigating the Digital Landscape: Strategies for SMBs in India to Embrace Digital Transformation”.

Munish Kaushal, Director- IT, Desh Bhagat University, highlighted the transformative impact of AI, ML, and blockchain in the education sector. He proudly shared, "At our college, these advancements have revolutionised every aspect of education. We have implemented chatbots to provide convenient solutions, eliminating the need for students to physically visit the university."

Bikramjeet Singh, Senior Manager of Quality & Assurance, Happy Forgings Ltd., shared his company's journey towards Industry 4.0. Reflecting on their past reliance on paper-based processes, he expressed, "We have made remarkable progress by implementing display systems on every machine, ensuring real-time data transmission to our customers. This shift has not only reduced our paper consumption but also enhanced transparency and efficiency in our operations."

Harinder Pal Singh, Head of IT, Punjab College of Technical Education, emphasised the significant role of technology in shaping the future of education. The education industry has swiftly embraced this shift, allowing for seamless integration of technology."
