To innovate and embrace the IT infrastructure in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India, CRN India, in partnership with Dell Technologies, started the Transformation Tour. The Transformation Tour highlights the most recent technological advancements that could enable SMEs in the host city to transform their companies, increase productivity, boost efficiency, and enhance overall service delivery. The latest edition of the Transformation Tour, organised in association with Redington, was held in Lucknow, the largest city and capital of India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh.
Popularly known as the ‘City of Nawabs’, as it was the seat of power of the Nawabs of Awadh in the 18th and 19th centuries, Lucknow today is an important tier 2 city in India. Situated 500 km southeast of New Delhi, it is an established administrative centre in UP. New projects such as the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, the Lucknow-Azamgarh-Ballia Purvanchal Expressway, and the metro rail seek to lend world-class infrastructure to the heritage city. Lucknow is a key economic base in north India and a prominent trading city. Important sectors include tourism, education, health services, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, design, and culture. The city also has a thriving handicrafts sector, which has grown into a strong small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector.
Md. Danish Khan, Lead Pre Sales Channel North India, Dell Technologies, kicked off the day with an informative presentation on the topic "Innovate IT Infrastructure."

He also emphasized Dell’s most innovative solution, "Apex," describing it as a consumption model that integrates services and is secured by an e-commerce platform.
Following that was a power-packed panel discussion on "Navigating the Digital Landscape: Strategies for SMBs in India to Embrace Digital Transformation."
Venkataramani Santhanam, CRO, CP Milk & Food Pvt. Ltd stated, "Data is the wealth today. To understand your customers, you should know their preferences and buying behavior to enhance your business."
Gopal Shukla, Head-IT & Automation, Sahara Hospital, spoke about technological innovations amidst the pandemic, "We built telemedicine and teleconsulting services to help patients throughout the pandemic."
